Familia Otavaleña

Portraits taken of an Otavalan family I met during my time living in Otavalo, Ecuador. During my 5 months there, I was constantly inspired by the textiles and meanings behind the traditional clothing. Otavalo is known as being an epicenter of traditional ecuadorian crafts. During my time there, I lived in an indigenous community called Peguche, where I learned about traditional Otavalan clothing and crafting.
